Since Earth Dai is such an important dai, we interrupt our regularly scheduled Moondai mashery of Ogden Nashery to bring the top 10 things that you can do about climate change. We can all do our part to make a little beneficial change now and encourage others (especially businesses!) to do their parts too. But if you find any Ogden Nash (or other not entirely serious) pomes about climate change, please feel free to add them in the comments also too! This is an Open Thread. So without further ado:
1. INCREASE YOUR USE OF SOLAR ENERGY

2. increase your use of wind power

3. commute by BICYCLE or public transportation

4. use energy-efficient appliances

5. eat more (organic) fruits and veggies, less meat

6. buy less

7. invest in green companies

8. support carbon pricing

9. vote!

10. discuss how climate change affects you
![Northern Elephant Seals (M. angustirostris) at sunrise early light at Piedras Blancas, San Simeon, CA 03 Feb 2012. Massive Alpha Males were most active today, breeding, and engaging in battles in between to defend their territories and harems. There was much posturing, grunting, bellowing, chasing, crashing into each other, biting and thrashing until the dominant male was established. At Piedras Blancas light is everything. The beach was crowded with a mass of elephant seals, a must-see exhibition. The main goal this morning was to capture a battle of the Alpha Males as they defend their territory during the height of the mating season and before the females head back out to sea.?Photo © 2012 “Mike” Michael L.
