Welp, I was scheduled for an esophagogastroduodenoscopy (sp?) with esophageal dilation tomorrow afternoon. But they contacted me to have it done this evening instead! So I am home and once again able to swallow. But the room is kind of tilty this way and that, so I will probably go to bed soon. I had to have nothing to drink for 4 hours before the procedure and nothing to eat for 12 hours, so am staying up a bit to eat and drink as able (post-anesthesia nausea, I have to be careful, but thirsty and hungry too!). If I try to write anything purrfound, it will probably be even sillier than usual, so I won’t try. Meanwhile, please help yourself to this Open Thread, and I will check in when I can.
