I happened to run across this story earlier today, wanted to share with the community since many Kossacks like to lend a helping hand to aminals in need.
A central New York “breeder” felt overwhelmed by the care of about 100 cats, so reached out to the local SPCA for help. She agreed to sign them all over to the SPCA, so no charges will be filed. The pooties’ health is being checked and any conditions treated, then the pooties will be released for adoption.
So the SPCA is in urgent need of supplies, foster and adoption volunteers, and of course money.
If anyone lives close enough to central New York to take part, please consider donating supplies, fostering and/or adopting. You don’t have to wait until the new pooties are ready, although look above at that face, they are button cute. But the SPCA already had over 100 pooties before the new 100 were added. Whenever you’re ready, they’re ready.
For those who live farther away, please consider a donation to the Central New York SPCA. They need extra help right now.
