At the risk of injecting pawlitics, I found the below widespread on the Internet whilst looking for funny quotes. I think we might all feel a little better with a “Hell, yeah!” moment. Don’t let anyone tell you that nothing can be done. This quote is unattributed everywhere I looked; if anyone knows the author, please let me know!

To which I would add, having read today that by law the FBI is not allowed to keep records of background checks, which means they have no record of how many guns anyone has bought at once —
We want the FBI to be able to track a sudden burst of activity by people, not guns.
